Description:

New development of a high quality student accommodation scheme, comprising 230 studio apartments, welfare facilities and ancillary communal space.

The project involves the demolition of industrial buildings on the site of the old Dairy Crest distribution centre located in a conservation area, with a design based on a series of 2-3 storey inter-linking buildings around a central feature courtyard.

Milestone Project Consultancy were employed to act as Development Managers from the site acquisition stage, and are responsible for appointing the technical team, monitoring and reviewing costs & design, as well as to ensure overall adherence to client and statutory requirements.

Design development is currently ongoing with a target planning application early Q4 2015 and anticipated start on site early 2016, to enable student intake 2017.
