New Kent Office – November 2013

Milestone Project Consultancy moves into a new Kent office located in Folkestone. This compliments the existing offices in London and enables us to better service clients in the south-east and provides a platform for growth.

Marlowe Innovation Centre – August 2013

Greg Clarke, Treasury to the Secretary, visits Marlowe Innovation Centre for the official project launch, and meets with Project Manager Zaw Htut, Director of Milestone Project Consultancy, and Rob Barlow of BEC contractors.
Mr Clarke turned the first soil on the £1M extension project, which will create up to 75 new jobs.

Ogle Street – January 2014

Milestone Project Consultancy appointed as Project Managers on a £1M Central London office refurbishment project. Once completed, the development will act as the Client’s new head office as well as being designed for potential future residential use.
Design team consists of Foster Lomas architects and Webb Yates engineers.

Rhodaus Town – February 2014

Milestone Project Consultancy working alongside CMC Quantity Surveyors and Guy Hollaway Architects, are proud to be appointed as Employers Agent and Project Managers for an ambitious £11M student accommodation project in Canterbury.
The scheme will deliver up to 450 studio flats for student accommodation use, along with accompanying restaurant, leisure and other communal facilities.

Marlowe Innovation Centre – May 2014

Practical completion of the project was successfully achieved on 12th May; 1 week ahead of programme and within budget.
First tenants are due to move in within the next few weeks. Great and worthy project to be involved on, with a delighted client at the end!

Westbrook House – May 2014

Unanimous planning approval was granted for the proposed Westbrook House Care Home on the 13th May.
Milestone Project Consultancy have previously been confirmed as the Project Managers and Employers Agent for this exciting new £5.5M scheme.
The target construction start date is Q4 2014.

Neatscourt, Phase 2 – June 2014

Construction is progressing well on site with external cladding nearing completion on the 1st terrace, and steel work being erected on the second retail terrace.
Pre-lets now confirmed with Iceland, B&M, Poundland and Sports Direct, with a target phased completion in August and October 2014.
Appointed Design & Build contractor is Cardy Construction, working with RGP Architects and MLM Engineers.

BREEAM 2011 Registration – June 2014

As of 30th June 2014, registration of BREEAM projects under the 2011 scheme will no longer be possible.
Similarly, fees for registration will increase from £120 to £195 and the Quality Assurance process will be increase in cost by 11.6% across all UK BREEAM Schemes.
We would also recommend that you ensure that all outstanding BREEAM Assessments are submitted prior to July 1st to avoid increased costs.

Heritage Lottery Fund – June 2014

Using money raised through National Lottery, the Heritage Lottery fund has been launched. This gives grants to projects which will help and sustain our heritage.
